  • 1976- 1984 Department of the environment and ancient monuments
  • Working on various ancient monuments in England doing restoration work

  • Working in various positions in a warehouse belonging to a large UK pharmaceutical company, including fork lift truck driving, picking orders and using Microsoft word on the computer
  • 1995 – 1996 voluntary work in a psychiatric hospital in Romania
  • 2000-2001 Care Principles Care home
  • Encouraging people with learning difficulties to care for themselves. This included taking people into the community to encourage them to shop independently, to read a bus or train timetable and just being able to be among crowds. The job entitled making and writing lesson plans, writing daily notes and attending meetings with the clinical to give feedback on the patients that I worked with.
  • 2011 – now teaching English in language schools in J. Hradec, Pelhřimov, and Třeboň Business Academy
  • 2012 – now teaching English conversation in Třeboň Gymnasium
